    Transmyocardial Revascularization - This is the procedure in which Holes are punched from epicardial surface with the help of LASER during an Open heart surgery. The holes are made in the hibernating or Ischemic muscles of left ventricle. Artificial channels are formed in the ventricular muscles with the help of this process. This helps in forming new coronary vessels. This process is effective in distal diseases like Diabetes Mellitus while Angioplasty and CABG is more effective in Proximal diseases.
